Aireal Joins Metaverse Standards Forum

Frisco, TX — Aug. 26 2022 — Aireal today announced that it has joined the Metaverse Standards Forum as a Principal Organization.

The Metaverse Standards Forum provides a venue for cooperation between standards organizations and companies to foster the development of interoperability standards for an open and inclusive metaverse, and accelerate their development and deployment through pragmatic, action-based projects. Some of the most prominent companies in the world are members of the Metaverse Standards Forum including: NVIDIA, Adobe, Epic Games, Google, Intel, Meta, & Microsoft.

Aireal, which was founded in 2013, currently has 7 global patents designed with the intentionality of building the Metaverse. These include technology regarding geospatial augmented reality, digital twins, and buying and selling virtual real-estate. Aireal has been named by CB Insights as one of the companies that will help build the Metaverse and by Angel List as one of the companies that will help define the Metaverse.
